You need to write RTI application on a blank plain paper addressed to the Public information officer concerned and an Rs ten non-judicial stamp is needed to be attached along with the RTI application.
However those people who are below poverty line need not pay any fee for the RTI application..but for availing RTI fee exemption they must attach a photocopy of the proof of income certificate..
If the applicant is not provided with the information on time or information is denied or partially supplied, in such a situation you can prefer first appeal after the expiary of 30 days, from the date when information was received and , from the date of filing RTI application if information is not provided to the applicant.
For filing first appeal an Rs50 non-judicial stamp must be attached along with the appeal, clearly mentioning name of the PIO…
For second appeal an Rs-100 non-judicial stamp to be attached along with the application..process is same as in case of first appeal…but RTI application and first appeal copy must be attached with the 2nd appeal..
