How to File Rti Online in Uttar Pradesh?

RTI (Right to Information) is now fundamental right of every citizen of India.

It was enacted in October 2005 and has been in operation since then.

For Filing online RTI in U.P.  you just need to write an application on a plain blank page, addressed to the PIO of the organization concerned. 

Write your queries point wise to help the PIOs understand your queries..

Attach an IPO of Rs.10 along with the application.

Send it via speed post or registered post.

Do not send your application via courier as it is not a valid mail service.

Every organization and department in Uttar Pradesh is required by the RTI Act 2005 to have a PIO, appellate authority and second appellate authority as well…and at the top state information commission to be set up.

State information commission UP is located in Lucknow.

You can file RTIs in Power companies like UPPCL also.
